Four sub-workshop discussions

The theme and discussions of the sub-workshop co-organised by ICROFS was based on the findings of a recent UNEP/UNCTAD report ‘Organic Agriculture and Food Security in Africa’.

The 4 parallel workshop group discussions that followed the presentations focussed on:

Group 1: How to address the need for development of agro-ecological methods for improved food security, stability and access for smallholder farmers
Group 2: How to address capacity building in organic agriculture at different levels
Group 3: How to strengthen community level development through organic agriculture
Group 4: How to support chain development and market access
