Designing and testing crop rotations for organic farming
Versatile crop rotations is a key area of organic agriculture in controlling weeds and attacks from pests and in ensuring optimum yields from nutrients. In 1999, a workshop was held involving researchers occupied with various aspects of crop rotations in organic farming. Papers and discussions covered long term experiments, farm studies, nitrogen cycles, nutrient accessibility, soil fertility, and plant protection.
